Less than a year after relaunching, Neil Anderson Media has been shortlisted in TWO categories at the Prolific North Creative Awards 2026 for its work on the Sheffield Blitz 85th campaign.
The campaign has been shortlisted in:
🏆 Master of Narrative
🏆 Creative for Good.
The awards celebrate some of the best creative, communications, digital and media work produced across the North of England and Scotland, with shortlisted campaigns across the awards involving brands including Greggs, Adidas, Pepsi and Asda.
The Sheffield Blitz 85th campaign was delivered on behalf of the Sheffield Blitz Memorial Trust and focused on preserving the memories of some of the last surviving people with living memory of the Sheffield Blitz of December 1940.
The project combined survivor testimony, public engagement, media relations, live events, digital storytelling, exhibition work, education activity and heritage interpretation to create a multi-platform campaign reaching audiences locally and nationally.
Coverage generated by the project included features on BBC, ITV and national media platforms, while the campaign also incorporated a permanent exhibition at the National Emergency Services Museum and innovative digital interpretation designed to connect younger audiences with Sheffield’s wartime history.
Neil Anderson said:
“To see a Sheffield heritage campaign recognised at this level genuinely means a huge amount.
“This project was always about ensuring these voices were heard and understood before they disappear forever.
“It also reinforces something I’ve always believed strongly – that meaningful storytelling, rooted in real people and real communities, can still create genuine public impact.”
The Sheffield Blitz 85th project has been funded by the The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Specialist partners working on the project have included East Peak Countryside Associates, Front Row Live, Llama Digital and National Emergency Services Museum.
The winners will be announced in Manchester in June 2026.
